 A prime location

Meetings on The Terrace, 152 The Terrace in central Wellington, is the perfectly located Wellington Venue to make things easy for you. We are beside The Terrace off-ramp from the Wellington Urban Motorway, and there are three options for parking remarkably close to us:

  • James Cook Wilsons Parking building directly opposite the motorway off-ramp

  • Clifton Terrace carpark 50m down The Terrace (the southern end of the carpark is right behind us)

  • The Asteron carpark next door to the Novotel, 20m down The Terrace from us

We are also a short walk up The Terrace from the business and Government heart of the capital. If it is shops and the Wellington CBD you want, Lambton Quay is easily accessible by lift in the James Cook Hotel opposite our venue. If you want to take visitors on a quick tour of the capital, the bottom of the Wellington Cable Car is close by on Lambton Quay. Many accommodation options are also close by.

 

Rooms 

We have five separate meeting rooms and conference rooms, which can accommodate between 6 and 100 people, with different room layouts suitable for interviews, meetings, functions or conferences. Our two biggest spaces, the Lecture room and Seminar room, can be combined to accommodate up to 100 people in a theatre style layout.

Food

Whether it is tea or coffee to greet your attendees to a short meeting, light refreshments for morning or afternoon tea as a break during staff training workshops, through to healthy, wholesome finger-food lunches to keep your group going during all-day functions or conferences, we’ve got you covered. We have a close relationship with some of the best local catering companies which means you get tasty, healthy and cost-effective options to meet all your refreshment and food needs.

Equipment

As part of making your meetings or events as hassle free as possible, we can provide almost any equipment you might need, from whiteboards and pens and paper, to sound systems, webcams and data projectors.
